SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Two River Theater Co.'s 2026-27 Season (see breakdown).

Actors of all Ethnicities, Gender Identities, and Physical Abilities are encouraged to audition.

No roles will be understudied.

PREPARATION

For PLAYS please prepare (2) one-min contrasting monologues. For MUSICALS please prepare (1) one monologue and a brief cut of a contemporary musical theater song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music organized. Bring picture and resume stapled or glued together.

Mariana - 47 years old. Type A accountant. She is going through a divorce and the pandemic has manifested some agoraphobic behavior in her.

Henry AKA Enrique Jr. - 37 years old. A serial monogamist and out of work graphic designer. Reluctantly stuck in Orlando after his mother fell ill and COVID shut the world down. Longs to get back to his fabulous life in New York City.

A gentle, resourceful, Scottish Sea Monster who also appears as a human, salty FISHERWOMAN. Scottish accent. Excellent mover, will perform aerial acrobatics, though no prior experience with aerial is necessary. Mezzo with belt.

THOMAS WESTERBROOK/AS CAST - Any ethnicity, late 30s - 50s. Haley's biological father. English. A dreamer, despite his pragmatism. Baritenor. English accent. Will perform aerial acrobatics, though no prior experience with aerial is necessary.

CAPTAIN CJ/ENSEMBLE - Any ethnicity, 30s-50s. A seasoned, spicy Scottish boat captain. Scottish accent. Tenor or Baritone.

THE OILER/ENSEMBLE - Any ethnicity, to play 75 or older. A lifelong Scottish ship mechanic with a deep respect for his Captain and the waters of Loch Ness. Scottish accent. Tenor or Baritone.

Trip Around the Sun is a hilarious and bittersweet World Premiere by one of America’s most promising playwrights.


SEEKING:

Suze Acker - Early 70s. She's into quilting and lives in Florida and therefore lives the life of an octogenarian. A retired quilt shop owner. A margarita-sipping Parrothead. The type who loves to shop at Michael's.

Phil Acker - Actually an octogenarian, but just barely; he’s 80. He's physically spry and an anxious mess (especially tonight). He’s a retired Jewish orthodontist originally from Brooklyn. Also a margarita-sipping Parrothead.
