SEEKING:
SIR TOBY BELCH: (ROLE ON OFFER) Any ethnicity. 40s-50s. Full of life and energy. Overindulges.
Drinks, Eats and Loves A Lot. Sexy. Edgy. Can’t resist a good brawl or a good woman. Definitely has
some issues with authority. A vivid human being who lives and loves LIFE in capital letters. Smart, and
very funny but not without depth. Enormous expanse of humor and heart. Larger than life in every
way.
FABIAN: Any ethnicity. 25-35. Male identifying. A groundskeeper at Lady Olivia’s. He gets everything done around the house. High energy. Works hard at trying to get things right and sometimes gets things wrong. Comedic.
SINGING MUSICIAN: 20s-30s. Any BIPOC identity. Any gender expression. NOTE: An ACCOMPLISHED guitarist who can accompany themselves while singing to understudy FESTE. Vocal range and quality: A tenor that can soar into an unearthly falsetto, characterized by a beautiful and emotive croon and a soothing, almost ethereal quality. This is an onstage ensemble role.
MALE IDENTIFYING ENSEMBLE: Any ethnicity. 20s-30s. Orsino’s entourage. Tall. Chiseled. Athletic build. Distractingly handsome. Think “personal trainer”, “exercise and nutrition influencer” etc. These are onstage roles. All must be highly experienced in handling classical text to understudy principal roles and likely play smaller dialogue roles including CURIO - a leader of Orsino’s entourage. Ready to hunt. SEA CAPTAIN - friend to Viola who rescues her and brings her to Illyria. A PRIEST who marries Olivia and Sebastian. An OFFICER in Count Orsino’s court.
FEMALE IDENTIFYING ENSEMBLE: Any ethnicity. 20s-30s. These are onstage roles. Must be highly experienced in handling classical text to understudy principal roles and play smaller dialogue and non-dialogue roles.
