DESCRIPTION

Bluey’s Big Play is a theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s television series, as seen on the Disney Channel The play features an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, new music by award-winning Bluey composer Joff Bush and brilliantly crafted life-size puppets and sets.

The show made its global premiere in Brisbane, Australia, where the tour went on to break box office records for children’s entertainment all over the country. Hailed as “a glorious celebration” of everything fans love about the show (The Guardian), it’s Bluey as fans have never seen it before, brought to real life. Since then, the show has toured the world, including a 2-year North American Tour, the UK, Europe and South Africa

Position: Touring Company Manager
Contract Dates: June 2, 2026 – 6-month contract with option to extend
Location: U.S. National Tour
Compensation: Range $1,700 to $1,900 per week (commensurate with experience) + $60/day per diem
Tour Style: Approx. 40% sleeper bus / 60% hotel accommodations


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the day-to-day logistics and operations of the touring production
  • Manage financial settlements with the local presenters at each venue
  • Ensure cast and crew welfare, safety, and performance readiness
  • Liaise with producers, stage management, venues, and technical teams
  • With assistance from the US Producer, coordinate travel, housing, and daily schedules using Master Tour
  • Assist with rehearsals, load in and load outs, and promotional events

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience in addressing pastoral issues that may arise in a working environment e.g. mental health first aid.

· Current first aid training

· Exceptional organizational and communication skills

· Friendly, proactive leadership style

· Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

· Familiarity with Master Tour scheduling software a plus.

  • Knowledge and experience of the working practices of a touring production
