THE DINOSAURS

SYNOPSIS: Every week at the same time, in the same place, a group of women share their stories of recovery. As weeks slip into years and decades spin into eternity, the women keep coming back amidst an ever-shifting, unfamiliar world. Jacob Perkins’ The Dinosaurs is a piercingly funny, loving ode to the infinite, innately human battle between holding on and letting go.

ALL ROLES ARE CAST: Actors will be considered for potential understudies or replacements.

JANE: CAST. Late 30s- early 40s. Female. Soft, mysterious, open.

JOAN: CAST. Mid 50s- 60. Female. Sharp, stern, assertive.

JOANE: CAST. Early- mid 40s. Female. Underfoot, insecure, dolorous.

RAYNA/ BUDDY: CAST. Late 20s- mid 30s. Female. Frightened, ever-evolving, raw nerve.

JOLLY: CAST. 80. Female. Wise, tough, aloof.

JANET: CAST. Late 30s- mid 40s. Female. Irreverent, flirtatious, scattered.
