DESCRIPTION

The Adventurer’s Guild — an absurdist fantasy short film about the workplace — is looking to cast actors to play the following 5 roles:

Elise (female, any ethnicity, 20s). An elf. A broken-down service worker surrendered to a miserable life. Must be comfortable participating in scenes with implied nudity. Must be comfortable around prop weapons (no guns).

Clara (female, any ethnicity, late teens [18+]). A cheery, naïve new hire in for a rude awakening.

Hoover (male, any ethnicity, 30s/40s). An outwardly warm guild master with a heart of ice.

Ross (male, any ethnicity, 20s/30s). An accomplished, powerful adventurer with a large ego. Must be comfortable around prop weapons (no guns).

Hannah (female, any ethnicity, 20s/30s). A secluded adventurer who spends more time with birds than people. Must be okay using a fake pipe.

Please email [email protected] with your headshot, the role(s) you’re interested in, your resume, and either a 60-second monologue or your reel. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to audition. In-person callbacks will take place after the New Year.

This is an unpaid, non-union acting opportunity filming March 2026 in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Shooting will take place over two to three days. The short film covers themes of sexual harassment and prostitution. Appropriate care will be taken to ensure the actors’ comfort.

Logline: When the innocence of Clara, a new hire, is threatened, Elise, an overworked guild veteran, finally steps up for what she believes in.
