Shatter The Glass Productions is seeking versatile femme-identifying and non-male vocalists for our Galentine’s Day Cabaret: Toxic Tenors!
We’re taking back the music of the men who’ve made you listen to them attempt the final note of “Santa Fe.” Our cast will be putting their twist on the classic tenor repertoire: think “My Petersburg,” “Lost In The Wilderness,” “Moving Too Fast,” “Waving Through A Window”…you know the type. Whether you’ve dated one, auditioned with one, lived with one, or worked with one, now is your chance to outshine and outsing them!
Toxic Tenors, accompanied by a live band, will take place on Friday February 13th at 7 pm at The Green Room 42. In order to submit, performers must be available from 4 pm-8:30 pm on Friday, February 13th for pre-show soundcheck and the performance, as well as for one rehearsal to take place on the evening of Monday February 9th.
There is no ticket sales minimum for performers to reach in order to participate, and talent will be compensated with photos and video footage of the event.
All show repertoire will be assigned, and transposed to a comfortable key for each performer. At this time, we are accepting submissions from non-male performers only (we encourage nonbinary performers to submit!).
This cabaret will be music directed by Gabby Montuori, and co-produced by Emily J Whalen and Adriana Nocco.
