Play Overview
In 2015, childhood best friends Cassandra and Shannon have a falling out- and then meet for the first time in eleven years in the exam room of a gynecologist's office.
Character Breakdown
Shay: [THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST] 26, female-presenting. Korean. A resident at a reproductive health clinic for uninsured patients. Matter-of-fact, tired, queer-presenting in a subtle way.
Cass: [THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST] 26, female-presenting. Latina. An actor/barista/nanny and Shay’s patient. Bubbly, works very hard to be funny, outwardly queer-presenting.
Shannon: Shay at 15, female-presenting, Korean. Nerdy and sensitive. A band kid. Cassandra’s best friend.
Cassandra: Cass at 15, female-presenting, Latina. Understands what it means to be cool, keenly aware of high school social pressures. Shannon’s best friend.
Rehearsal Process
The rehearsal process will be based upon availability, but we will rehearse one to two times a week.
Important Performance
Tech: Tuesday, 2/3 from 6-10pm
Show #1: Thursday 2/5 at 8pm
Show #2: Thursday 2/12 at 6:30pm
Show #3: Saturday 2/14 at 5pm

Compensation
Actors will be given a stipend of $20.
