Job Summary

Fast Lane Projects is seeking a reliable part-time Personal Assistant with a domestic flair. This role is on-site in a Tribeca work/living situation. The ideal candidate should have some skills in homemaking, cooking, and/or home design and be punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn. Working under the Chief of Staff for a NY-based writer, critic, curator, and producer, the candidate will be responsible for completing tasks and errands as directed and will help create and maintain a homey environment. The job requires time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude, be able to work well with others, be organized, proactive, and capable of working independently, and be able to tolerate a flexible schedule, including working occasional evening events, weekends, and holidays.


Responsibilities

· Help create a comfortable, homey atmosphere, including tidying up, arranging flowers and “staging.”

· Maintain kitchen, restock groceries, kitchen supplies, etc.

· Execute errands such as grocery shopping, picking up/dropping off packages and dry cleaning, returns to stores, and other tasks as assigned.

· Ensure all errands and tasks are completed accurately and according to instructions.

· Communicate effectively with Chief of Staff, providing updates on the status of tasks.

· Manage set-up for occasional in-person business/social meetings, including providing snacks, meals and office supplies. Help with clean up afterwards.

· Aid with social events and cocktail parties.

· Handle cash or payment transactions associated with tasks and maintain accurate records.

· Occasionally assist bookkeeper with light administrative tasks, including organizing financial records, scanning documents, and maintaining physical files.

· Other light tasks as assigned.

Requirements

· A sense of home management, skill in making spaces attractive

· Ability to work independently and make decisions on the go

· Previous experience in a similar role

Hours: 15-25 per week

$30.00 per hour

SALARY

$28.00 – $30.00 per hour
