CLOWNING AND COMEDY with Mark Stolzenberg

A hands-on learning experience delving into the art of physical comedy on a professional level.

The course emphasizes classical and contemporary clown comedy routines, character

development, slapstick and physical comedy, and explores the essence and spirit of clowning on a

truly artistic level.

PHYSICAL STORYTELLING with Bill Bowers

World renowned mime and actor Bill Bowers offers workshops in Physical Storytelling and Mime, designed for theatre artists of all abilities. Students will experience a series of movement exercises that consider Presence, Focus, Physical Awareness and Space work, Individual physical warmups, and group improvisations. With Bill, students will work to strengthen and relax the actor’s body, expand their movement vocabulary, and open the physical imagination.
