LED/Video Tech

Position Summary:

Round Room Live is seeking an LED/Video Tech for a theatrical, North American bus & truck tour playing a one-nighter schedule in theaters and arenas. A successful candidate will have experience with ground-supported and hanging walls, cabling, and mapping multiple LED walls using Brompton processing.

General Responsibilities and Details:

· Daily show load-in and load-out of ROE CB5 panels using Brompton processing.

· Must know basic video principles and troubleshooting. Video playback is handled by audio, but you will need to be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the video routing from the computer to the LED processor.

· Work with all other departments and crew members to load-in the general show items, including but not limited to the mother grid and any soft goods.

· Run a deck track as needed.

Qualifications:

· Two or more years of experience as an LED Tech or equivalent experience in lighting or audio.

· One or more years in the touring industry.

· Must hold a current passport and have no international travel restrictions.

· Outstanding judgment and ability to prioritize varying tasks.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and demonstrated sound judgment when issues need to be escalated.

Compensation:

· The rate starts at $1600 per week. Rates negotiable based on experience.

· Single hotel accommodations on days off.

· The company pays for all travel.

Travel to meet the tour on 3/10, with the tour running till 6/7.
