Studio Seaview is a commercial venue housing a 296-seat theatre and a studio space located at 43rd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan. Reporting directly to the Audience Services Manager, the House Manager oversees the flow of audience prior, during, and post performances, ensuring exceptional customer service while managing a team of ushers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure a superior customer service experience for all guests;
Lead a team of Ushers during nightly shows;
Proficiently communicate with members of front-of-house staff and box office across all channels (radio, phone, email, and in-person) during operational hours;
Assist VIP and ADA guests to designated areas;
Responsible for venue opening and closing duties;
Serve as the point of contact for any and all safety concerns of staff and patrons during operational hours of public facing events at the venue;
Other Front of House duties as assigned.
NECESSARY SKILLS
Exceptional customer service and people management skills
Prior experience as a Front of House role in a theatrical setting highly preferred
Ability to professionally problem solve
Keen sense of time management and key holder responsibilities
Ability to walk and stand for 5 hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 25lbs or more
Upon hire obtaining and maintaining the following certificates will be required:
FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-03
ServSafe Food Handling
Others as needed
DURATION
Part-time, based on venue performance schedule
Start Date: Mid-May 2025
HOURS
Flexible weekend and evening availability required
10-25 hours per week while in production
