Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts - Thingamajig Theatre Company are holding virtual auditions for their summer repertory season, for BIPOC Female Presenting performers for Hannah, Come From Away - Jenny, Company - Fruma Sarah, Fiddler on the Roof. To submit please send Headshot, Resume, and requested materials, as well as a movement/dance reel, and a short slate with a little bit about yourself. Please make the subject line Last Name, First Name - 2026 Summer Season Submission. Reminder all three shows run in rep, meaning all actors will be in all three shows. Rehearsals Begin May 17, Final Performance on August 29th.

HANNAH & OTHERS: (Female identifying, 30s–50s) Mother of a firefighter in Manhattan, HANNAH waits for news about her son and is comforted by Beulah. Contemporary soprano with strong high mix up to E.

JENNY: Quietly manipulative, simultaneously square and wise. Loves her husband, David, and will indulge him from time to time. Gender: Female | Age: 30 to 40 Vocal range top: A5 | Vocal range bottom: A3

FRUMA-SARAH: Age Range: 35–55 - Vocal Range: Mezzo/Alto (C4–Eb5) - Acting: Very strong- Movement: Move well - Fruma-Sarah is Lazar Wolfe’s dead wife who appears as a ghost in the dream sequence to warn Tevye and Golde not to allow Tzeitel to marry her husband or dire results will befall the family. Her solo is a show stopper and the actor must carry this challenging solo.

Submit as a YouTube link (unlisted is fine). Please do NOT send large video files directly.

If your availability changes, please notify us as soon as possible.

Due to volume, we may not be able to respond individually to every submission; if you do not hear from us by April 15, we have likely moved forward with other performers, but we truly appreciate your work and may keep you in mind for future projects.

Contracts include housing, round trip transportation, Hot Springs Resort and Spa Membership, comp tickets and a weekly professional salary. All contracts are NON- AEA.
