Job Title: Account Manager – Organic Social Media (Broadway & Live Entertainment)

Location: New York, NY (Primarily Remote + Ongoing In-Person Shoots Events)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:

We’re a fast-growing, creative-first Broadway Digital Media startup specializing in organic social media strategy, content production, paid media, influencer activations, event production, and community engagement for Broadway shows and live entertainment. Our work lives at the intersection of storytelling, fandom, and culture—with the goal of capturing the magic of theater for audiences online.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced sharp, creative, and self-driven Account Manager based in New York City to lead the content ideation, production, and execution for social media accounts representing some of the most exciting Broadway, pre-Broadway, and touring productions.

This role is part creative strategist, part producer, part social media expert—with room to contribute cross-functionally in partnerships and business development. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a fast-moving pipeline of content, and your creative vision will shape the online presence of iconic shows.

You must be fan-forward in your approach—eager to engage, grow, and nurture the community around each production. This role is ideal for someone who understands theater fandom and wants to help build digital spaces where audiences can connect, celebrate, and share their passion in addition to expertise with client services and managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage day-to-day organic social media accounts for Broadway clients, from content planning through posting and reporting.
- Lead and manage a team of community managers, assistants, and designers on your accounts
- Ideate, direct, and execute social-first content—particularly short-form video and photography—across backstage moments, offstage events, cast shoots, and in-person fan activations.
- Stay plugged into social trends and adapt them smartly and authentically to fit each show’s voice and goals.
- Be a champion of the fan community—engage with audiences meaningfully, understand what makes them tick, and help shape content and strategy that puts them at the center.
- Contribute to strategic partnerships, both for the accounts you manage and the broader organization, as needed.
- Serve as a client-facing leader, ensuring account health, alignment with client goals, and proactive communication.
- Lead on-site content capture and production at events, rehearsals, performances, and activations.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, editors, and internal team members to meet tight deadlines with excellence.
- Set creative direction on content types and storytelling approaches, and confidently manage execution end-to-end.

Work Environment & Schedule:
This position is hybrid, with regular weekly in-person responsibilities such as events, shoots, or client meetings (candidates MUST be based in NYC) but with most meetings online.

Mostly standard business hours 9-5 M-F, with occasional evening or weekend events based on show schedules or content opportunities.

Requirements:
- Must be based in New York City and available for in-person events, content shoots, and client meetings.
- 3-5+ years of experience in social media content creation, production, or account management in live entertainment or theater experience
- Experience with client services and management
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and content trends.
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas and see them through production to publication.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and owning large pieces of work
- Experience working in a fast-paced, nimble environment is highly preferred.
- Passion for Broadway, theater, and live entertainment
- Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with fans and building vibrant, authentic communities online.
