Misty Copeland, the ballerina who was promoted in June to principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre, joined the Broadway cast of On the Town Aug. 25, stepping into the role of aspiring ballet dancer Ivy Smith, the show's elusive Miss Turnstiles. After her first show, the cast and some special guests celebrated with a reception at The Lamb's Club.
