Meet Your BroadwayCon Digital Correspondents
Ben Cameron and Tyler Mount will be your Playbill Digital Correspondents, bringing you into the world of BroadwayCon. Cameron will be hosting our Facebook Live coverage, reporting from backstage with all of your Broadway favorites as they arrive to participate in the weekend’s panels and performances. Mount will report from the convention center floor, talking with attendees and offering a glimpse inside the highly-anticipated panels and workshops. Visit our Facebook page at 3 PM EST on January 23 to meet Ben and Tyler!

Facebook
Get up close and personal with all of the BroadwayCon talent with our Facebook Live correspondent, Ben Cameron. Tune in for the first live broadcast Friday, January 27 at 9:30 AM ET. Continue to watch for our Facebook live-streams throughout the entire weekend because he will be backstage with legendary Broadway talent, asking questions, playing games, and getting wild!

Instagram
Every Broadway performer and fan has a story and those will be celebrated with our Humans of Broadway(Con) Instagram series! Popular Instagram account Humans of Broadway will bring its signature portraits and compelling quotes of both performers and fans throughout the weekend. We’ll show off the first portrait from convention by 1 PM ET on January 27, but you’ll never know when inspiration will strike. Be on the look out!

Periscope
Want to watch Tyler Mount (of The Tyler Mount Vlog) running around BroadwayCon testing fans on the lyrics to “La Vie Boheme?” Or fan-girling along side the Fansies? He will do exactly that (and more) on our Periscope. Tune in for his first live broadcast from BroadwayCon at 10:30 AM ET on Friday, January 27. Make sure to check back frequently for cuddles, giggles, and crazy surprises all weekend long!

Add “playbill” on Snapchat now! Each morning will bring a new daily challenge for Broadway fans. Whether you’re at the Javits Center or experiencing it all through social media, you can get in on the action by completing our Snapchat challenge. Each challenge will award a special prize to the winner. Be sure to capture your own moments throughout the weekend with your Playbill Snapchat filter!

Tumblr
Last year’s BroadwayCon was full of impressive cosplayers. This year our photo team will be snapping photos of the best outfits and we’ll be showing them off on our Tumblr through a mega post at the end of each day. Make sure to reblog your faves!

Twitter
Our Twitter account is where all of the main action will be happening. Not only will we be tweeting scoops from MainStage panels in real time, we’ll be re-tweeting Broadway celebs and fans and capturing those spontaneous, hilarious moments you won’t want to miss. Think of it as a live-tweeting session—of the whole weekend!

BroadwayCon has also announced a 25 percent student discount offer for individuals with a valid student ID. The discount applies to general weekend passes and single-day passes for the three-day event that runs January 27-29 at the Javits Center in New York.
