Mary Kate Morrissey, who recently starred as Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked, will soon play another school outcast in a traveling production. As revealed at the 2019 Stars in the Alley concert May 10, the actor will take on the role of Janis Sarkisian in the national tour of Mean Girls.

The previously reported tour will begin September 21 in Buffalo, New York, with subsequent stops including Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, Orlando, Denver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Additional casting will be announced later.
