To continue the celebration of the 30th Broadway anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, current stars Peter Jöback and Ali Ewoldt appeared on NBC's The Today Show January 26.

A special 2 PM matinee, marking the the 30th anniversary, takes place January 26 in addition to the regular 8 PM evening performance at the Majestic Theatre.
The Phantom of the Opera enters its fourth decade having played 12,500 performances to 18 million people at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street) and having grossed more than $1.1 billion.
The Phantom of the Opera features music by Lloyd Webber, direction by Harold Prince, lyrics by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and a book by Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber. The long-running production is produced by Cameron Mackintosh and Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group,
