Josh Strickland, who created the title role in the original 2006 Broadway staging of the musical Tarzan, has returned to the part in the German production of the Disney work.
The actor, who is currently donning a loincloth in Oberhausen, sings Phil Collins' "Strangers Like Me" in German in the video below from Entertainment Weekly.
A cast recording of the German production, which has previously played Hamburg and Stuttgart, is also available. The musical has been playing Oberhausen since 2016.
Tarzan, based on the 1999 Disney film of the same name and the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs, has music and lyrics by Grammy winner Collins and a book by Tony winner David Henry Hwang. Strickland starred in the title role throughout the musical's entire 486-performance Broadway run.
