Resident choreographer of the New York City Ballet Justin Peck makes his Broadway debut this season with the choreography of the latest revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel—and he earned a Tony nomination doing it.

The 30-year-old dance wunderkind has already impressed Lincoln Center audiences with his daring work, and now he presents a new take on Carousel. While the original was choreographed by storyteller Agnes De Mille, Peck packs even more dance movement into this latest mounting, now running at the Imperial Theatre. The production took in ten total Tony nominations on May 1, including Best Revival of a Musical.
