Two-time Academy Award winner Washington and Tony winner Davis discuss the acting process, how they became actors in the first place, their first meeting and previous projects together. They also discuss their intensely personal relationships with playwright August Wilson’s work.
“You get to be humanized, with August, in a way that black actors are not usually,” said Davis.
