Evan Handler (Six Degrees of Separation, I Hate Hamlet, Sex and the City) is currently playing director-producer (and 21-time Tony Award winner) Hal Prince on the new FX limited series Fosse/Verdon. So Playbill decided to quiz Handler on his Prince knowledge, and asked him to identify the master director's shows from just their original Playbill cover art. Fosse/Verdon finds Prince's career intersecting with that of fellow director Bob Fosse and his wife, the dancer-actor Gwen Verdon. Starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams, the series is an inside look at the Broadway duo who collaborated on such musicals as Sweet Charity, Damn Yankees, and Chicago. The cast also includes Ethan Slater as Joel Grey, Ahmad Simmons as Ben Vereen, Kelli Barrett as Liza Minnelli, Bianca Marroquín as Chita Rivera, Norbert Leo Butz as Paddy Chayefsky, Laura Osnes as Shirley MacLaine, and more.
