Inside Edition brought four generations of Annie stars together for a video celebrating the musical’s 40th anniversary. All of the 19 women, including stage and screen star Sarah Jessica Parker, have played the iconic title role at some point in their careers.
In the video, Parker recalls her first time watching Annie, and the women reminisce on their experiences of playing the curly-haired orphan. Andrea McArdle, who starred as the original Annie in the first Broadway production in 1977, is also featured in the video.
Taylor Richardson, who starred in the most recent Broadway engagement of Annie, wraps up the reunion by leading all 19 women in a rendition of the well-known show tune “Tomorrow”.
