The Hollywood Reporter says that Pryce will join Jonathan Silverman, Katherine Waterston and Reid Scott for the still-untitled comedy from Marsh McCall and Jerry Bruckheimer. The program concerns an eccentric professor (Pryce) who is left by his wife and the lengths his three children (Silverman, Waterston and Scott) go to in order to bolster his spirits. Jonathan Pryce won Tony Awards for his performances in Miss Saigon and Comedians and has also appeared on Broadway in Accidental Death of an Anarchist. He received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance in "Barbarians at the Gate" and was also seen in the film of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita" as well as the recent Cole Porter biopic "De-Lovely."
Pryce will soon be featured in "The Brothers Grimm."
