Wopat will play the famed jazz venue at 7 PM. The evening will celebrate his newest recording, “Consider It Swung.” Audiences can expect to hear Wopat's renditions of “That’s Life,” “But Not For Me,” “42nd Street” and “Fifty Checks"; the latter is from the new Marc Shaiman/Scott Wittman musical Catch Me If You Can.
Tedd Firth is the musical director for the concert, which will feature arrangements by David Finck.
Tom Wopat received Tony nominations for his performances in A Catered Affair and in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun (opposite Bernadette Peters). He has also appeared on Broadway in Sondheim on Sondheim, I Love My Wife, City of Angels, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, 42nd Street and Glengarry Glen Ross. Perhaps best known for his seven-season run on "The Dukes of Hazzard," Wopat has released several albums with CBS and Capitol Records. His latest CDs are "Dissertation on the State of Bliss" and "Consider It Swung."
