The Jonathan Larson Project, a concert evening featuring rare, unrecorded songs from the late Rent creator’s catalog of work, will premiere at Feinstein’s/54 Below in the fall.

The October 9–14 concerts are conceived and directed by Feinstein’s/54 Below Creative and Programming Director Jennifer Ashley Tepper. All of the material included in the evening has gone unrecorded, and has never been performed in public.

In addition to cut songs from Rent and tick tick…BOOM, as well as Larson’s unproduced musicals 1984 and Superbia, the concert will include material Larson wrote for theatrical revues and the radio.

The lineup of performers includes Nick Blaemire (Godspell), Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, Beatsville), Andy Mientus (NBC's Smash, Spring Awakening), Destinee Rea (Amélie, Dreamgirls), and George Salazar (Be More Chill, The Lightning Thief). They will be backed by music director-orchestrator Charlie Rosen and a five-piece band.
