Inside the Theatre Step Inside Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre Inside the Theatre, the series that documents Broadway’s historic playhouses, continues with the Lyceum.

Playbill’s Inside the Theatre captures the dazzling architecture and unseen details of the world’s most famous theatres, taking you inside all 41 of Broadway's currently-operating houses.

Impresario Daniel Frohman opened the Lyceum in 1903, calling it the New Lyceum to distinguish it from the old one he once operated on the now-renamed Fourth Avenue. Designed by architects Herts and Tallant, the theatre is located at 149 W. 45th Street.
