Carolyn, our open-capture maven, wins the first two-show day lottery. We all know a two-show day actually starts the night before.
Up early to submit my final grades of the semester, at The New School, before heading to the theater.
What to wear? Loving this NYTW swag and how it hangs in front of a painting done by the artist Seth Ruggles Hiler.
Isn’t it eye-ronic? We love terrible jokes. Here we go.
I couldn’t remember what show we were doing, then I saw the light. Warming up the vocals onstage.
My warmup is going very well. Our Lucille Lortel winner, Gregg Mozzgala, however... (seriously though, he's crushing it.)
Signing programs for our lovely, generous, donors. They keep this engine running.
Getting into the gig: reviewing my script, hydrating, taping my toes, and finding it in the mirror.
Watching the audience enter for the first show with our production mascot Lamby.
With Matthew Jeffers, Vinie Burrows, Gregg Mozgala and Evelyn Spahr. We just did an interview and photoshoot. We are professional pros.
With a few of the incredible Ladies of Buckinghamshire. (L to R) Evelyn Spahr, Kristi Hess, Esther Bermann, and our valiant Stage Manager Jhanae Bonnick. We give you the light in black and white.
I just crushed the two-show day trivia contest by listing the most locations mentioned in the show. Life can be ruff; a multicolored ruff constructed by the crew in your honour.
The Queen Vinie Burrows observes Gregg Mozgala, the Player King, after the results of our second two-show day trivia is announced.
It was actually a two-show day trivia tie! Gregg Mozgala concedes his crown to the honorable Matthew Jeffers.
The Queen Vinie Burrows sparkling with her sparkling before the second show. Oh, if only I could share the tales she has told.
We get our places call for the top of the second show and the Queen Vinie Burrows is received by her Kings, Rob Campbell and Gregg Mozgala.
Austin Grey, the Deck Carpenter at NYTW, keeping us LIT for the second show! The candles...none of your beeswax. Well they're all beeswax.
I got my capon backstage and I’m about to fly into Act 2. Meat me in Buckinghamshire.
And just like that our two-show day (5hrs 20mins our performance time) is done. Not so ruff.
Finally, home. I'm gonna dust off the foot-powder, un-tape these toes, soak these tootsies, and fall asleep with food in my mouth. I love this actor life.
