Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina—of The Skivvies fame—will play Linus and Lucy, respectively, in Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown as part of the company's 2018–2019 season.
Featuring new musical arrangements with actors playing their own instruments, performances are scheduled for April 20–May 18, 2019. Opening night is April 25.
Bill Fennelly will direct Clark Gesner's musical, based on Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts cartoon. Additional casting will be announced.
Cincinnati Playhouse's upcoming Robert S. Marx Theatre Season will also include William Goldman's stage adaptation of Stephen King's Misery (September 1–29), Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon's Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, a sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (October 13–November 10), Howard Dallin's adaptation of A Christmas Carol (November 21–December 29), Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes' Tony-winning In the Heights (January 19-February 17, 2019), and August Wilson's Two Trains Running (March 2–30).

The Shelterhouse Theatre Season will feature Jen Silverman's The Roommate, billed as "The Odd Couple meets Breaking Bad" (September 21-October 21), the world premiere of the new musical Cincinnati King, written and directed by KJ Sanchez about the history of Cincinnati's King Records (November 3–December 23), The Second City—It's Not You, It's Me (January 10–27), the world premiere of Audrey Cefaly's romantic The Last Wide Open (February 9–March 10), and Larissa FastHorse's The Thanksgiving Play, about a group of liberal artists who attempt to create a culturally sensitive Thanksgiving play for local elementary schools (March 23–April 21).
