The U.K. tour of Willy Russell's Blood Brothers, which will resume performances beginning January 14 at the Derby Theatre, will welcome Sean Keany as the Narrator and Cameron Patmore as Perkins.
Directed by Bob Tomson and producer Bill Kenwright, the 2025 cast will continue to be led by Vivienne Carlyle, who starred in the autumn leg of the tour, as Mrs. Johnstone. Niki Colwell Evans will play the role for the Liverpool Empire engagement only.
Sean Jones and Joe Sleight will also continue in the roles of twins Mickey and Eddie, respectively, with Gemma Brodrick as Linda. Also returning to the cast are Sarah Jane Buckley as Mrs. Lyons, Tim Churchill as Mr. Lyons, Chloe Pole as Donna Marie, Alex Harland as Policeman/Teacher, Graeme Kinniburgh as Postman/Bus Conductor, Jess Smith as Brenda, James Ledsham as Sammy, and Dominic Gore as Neighbour.
Blood Brothers follows twins separated at birth, who grow up on the opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with tragic consequences.
Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West
End. The hit musical played Broadway April 1993–April 1995.
The touring production also features musical supervision by Matt Malone, sound by Dan Samson, set and costumes by Andy Walmsley, and lighting by Nick Richings. Tim Churchill is the resident director.
