The Al Hirschfeld Foundation and the Algonquin Hotel hosted a birthday celebration to honor legendary caricaturist Al Hirschfeld's 114th birthday June 21. The event featured The Tony’s As Seen by Hirschfeld, an exhibit displaying 23 large-scale reproductions of the late caricaturist’s work In celebration of the 2017 Tony Awards.
Running through August 8, the installation, presented in partnership by the Al Hirschfeld Foundation and the Algonquin Hotel, showcases Hirschfeld drawings of Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals and plays.
