BroadwayCon opened up the design of its official 2017 merchandise to fans by way of a merch contest that ran through October 2016. Below are the winning designs that will be featured on this year’s T-shirts and posters.
For the 2017 designs, BroadwayCon was looking for a “design that encapsulates the BroadwayCon spirit, love of theatre, inclusiveness, and sense of fun.”
The “Place for Us” design by Derrick Weishaar will be featured on BroadwayCon T-shirts. Check it out below.
The “ABCs” by Jon Porcasi will be featured on BroadwayCon posters. Look at the design below.
The winners received prizes to BroadwayCon 2017, which runs January 27-29 at the Javits Center in New York.
BroadwayCon will also offer a 25 percent student discount for individuals with a valid student ID. The discount applies to general weekend passes and single-day passes for the three-day event.
