Broadway News Reneé Rapp Makes Broadway Debut in Mean Girls June 7 The Jimmy Award winner steps into the role of Regina George for a limited summer engagement before joining full-time in September.

Reneé Rapp joins the cast of Mean Girls June 7, marking the 2018 Jimmy Award winner's Broadway debut. She takes over as queen bee Regina George from original star and Tony nominee Taylor Louderman for a limited summer engagement June 7–26; she'll assume the role full-time beginning September 10.

Rapp, a graduate of North Carolina's Charlotte Northwest School of the Arts, heads to Broadway as her fellow 2018 Jimmy Awards winner, Andrew Beth Feldman, makes his debut in the title role of Dear Evan Hansen.

The current company at the August Wilson Theatre also includes Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Krystina Alabado as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Grey Henson as Damian Hubbard, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, and Jennifer Simard as the trifecta of Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George.
