News Paxton Whitehead and Anthony Newfield Will Star in Bernard and Bosie: A Most Unlikely Friendship Paxton Whitehead and Anthony Newfield will co-star in a one-night-only presentation of Anthony Wynn’s Bernard and Bosie: A Most Unlikely Friendship May 5 at 7 PM at Guild Hall at The Little Church.

The evening will benefit the emergency aid and relief programs of the Episcopal Actors’ Guild.

Using letters exchanged by playwright George Bernard Shaw and poet Lord Alfred "Bosie" Douglas, Bernard and Bosie, press notes state, "explores the complex relationship between these two men. It’s a story about character and the ways in which personal fate is tied to the years of their youth, and how the past can have a direct impact on the present."

Shaw will be played by Whitehead, currently starring on Broadway in The Importance of Being Earnest. Newfield, featured in last season’s The Royal Family, will play Bosie.

Writer Anthony Wynn’s most recent book is "Remember with Advantages," the theatrical memoir of actor Barry Morse.

Guild Hall at The Little Church is located at One East 29th Street, between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue. There is a suggested donation of $20.
