The Broadway League has announced the list of participating shows for the return of Kids’ Night on Broadway, which is set to take place February 27, 2018.

The annual event allows kids 18 and under to attend participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket also includes restaurant and parking discounts. Select shows will offer in-theatre activities for kids, including talkbacks, activity books, and more. (The discount is applied as 50 percent off each full-priced ticket.)

Participating shows include Aladdin, Anastasia, The Band’s Visit, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, A Bronx Tale, Come From Away, Chicago, Farinelli and the King, Kinky Boots, The Lion King, Once On This Island, The Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Wicked.

This year’s Kids’ Night on Broadway ambassadors include Anastasia star Christy Altomare, Tony Award-winning Once on This Island star Lea Salonga, and SpongeBob star Ethan Slater.

“As someone who started her career in theatre at a young age, introducing my daughter to its magic was so exciting,” Salonga said in an earlier statement. “She has been seeing musicals since she was around a year and a half old, and its allure hasn’t grown old. (She gets bored at concerts, though.) She’s my favorite theatre buddy, asking great questions about plot and characters, and continues discussions even long after the curtain has come down. This year, she began her own journey as a performer joining the Manila production of Matilda, playing the role of Alice. She’s having a blast and now understands the hard work that every musical actor has to undertake. Needless to say, we’re all very proud of her.”

Kids’ Night will also take place in multiple cities around the country, with different shows and venues putting their own spin on the event, on numerous dates throughout the year.

Tickets are now available by visiting KidsNightonBroadway.

The Broadway League is the national trade association for the Broadway industry.
