News Oscar Winner Shirley MacLaine Will Join Fox's "Glee" Shirley MacLaine, an Oscar winner for "Terms of Endearment," has been cast on the Fox hit musical series "Glee," according to TVLine.com.

MacLaine will appear in a multi-episode arc on the series, playing a powerful New York socialite who aims to bring Blaine (How to Succeed's Darren Criss) to superstardom.

Her first episode is slated to air later this month.

MacLaine was nominated for a 1984 Drama Desk Award for Shirley MacLaine on Broadway and has also been seen in Me and Juliet, The Pajama Game and her solo show Shirley MacLaine.

"Glee" is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers.
