Cordero, who will be making his Broadway debut, is stepping in for Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, the owner of The Bourbon Room, while Dannheisser is on leave to play a role in Disgraced at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater.
Dannheisser will return to Rock of Ages Nov. 19.
Cordero's theatre credits include Off-Broadway’s The Toxic Avenger, the first national tour of Rock of Ages and regional productions of The Toxic Avenger and Little Shop of Horrors.
The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.
Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.
