Dancing and special talents will be showcased in the second annual Newsboys' Variety Show, a reunion of cast members from the national tour of the Disney musical Newsies, being held October 2 at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City.
A spokesperson told Playbill that while there may be one or two songs from Newsies itself, the show consists of “all sorts of music and dancing. Originals, pop songs, musical theatre songs, parodies. It’s all very eclectic.”
Participating performers include Joey Barreiro, Dan DeLuca, Jonathan Fenton, JP Ferreri, Kaitlyn Frank, Jeff Heimbrock, Morgan Keene, Stephen Michael Langton, Devin Lewis, Nick Masson, Alex Prakken, Anthony Rosenthal, Michael Ryan, Jack Sippel, Ethan Steiner, Stephanie Styles, Daniel Switzer, Chaz Wolcott, and Anthony Michael Zas.
The show will be performed twice, at 7 and 9:30 PM, with music direction by Chip Prince and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.
Tickets cost $35–$75 plus a $25 food/drink minimum, and can be purchased at 54Below.com. Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street.
