Alistair Brammer, who made his Broadway debut in 2017 as Chris in the revival of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Miss Saigon, will join the London company of Wicked this summer.
Brammer will step into the role of Fiyero at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre beginning July 22. He succeeds David Witts, who will play his final performance July 20.
After making his professional West End debut as Marius in Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables in 2009, Brammer went on to appear as Billy Narracott in War Horse and Chris in the London revival of Miss Saigon (before reprising his performance in New York opposite Eva Noblezada).
The current cast also features Alice Fearn as Elphaba, Sophie Evans as Glinda, Melanie La Barrie as Madame Morrible, Andy Hockley as The Wizard, Chris Jarman as Doctor Dillamond, Rosa O’Reilly as Nessarose, and Jack Lansbury as Boq.
