The first of three major productions scheduled as part of the Kennedy Center's "Tennessee Williams Explored" festival, A Streetcar Named Desire, a Pulitzer Prize winner, stars Patricia Clarkson, Noah Emmerich, Adam Rothenberg, and Amy Ryan. The producion is directed by Garry Hynes, who was represented on Broadway this past season with the short-lived Sixteen Wounded. Streetcar will be followed by Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, directed by Mark Lamos (June 12-July 4), and The Glass Menagerie, directed by Gregory Mosher (July 17-Aug. 8).
