International News London’s Wicked Will Celebrate Another Milestone in September The Stephen Schwartz musical continues at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End.

The West End production of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman's Wicked, which surpassed Billy Elliot The Musical August 1 to become the 16th longest-running show in London theatre history, will celebrate its 11th birthday at the Apollo Victoria Theatre September 27.

Producers also announced that 500,000 new tickets are now on sale for performances through December 1, 2018.

Seen by over eight million people in London alone, the current cast is headed by Alice Fearn as Elphaba, Sophie Evans as Glinda, Bradley Jaden as Fiyero, Melanie La Barrie as Madame Morrible, Andy Hockley as The Wizard, Martin Ball as Doctor Dillamond, Sarah McNicholas as Nessarose, and Jack Lansbury as Boq.

The Broadway production continues at the Gershwin Theatre and recently welcomed a host of new and returning faces, including Wicked alum Jackie Burns as Elphaba, Amanda Jane Cooper as Glinda, Ashley Parker Angel as Fiyero, and Tony winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible.

Wicked is produced around the world by Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. Executive producer (U.K.) is Michael McCabe.
