Minnelli Tours Europe with New Show, April 2-23 Following her March 16 wedding to producer David Gest in New York, Broadway baby Liza Minnelli will embark on an international tour of Liza's Back!. Kicking off with a five-night run April 2-7 at London's Royal Albert Hall, her new concert will then travel to Denmark, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland April 14-23.

Following her March 16 wedding to producer David Gest in New York, Broadway baby Liza Minnelli will embark on an international tour of Liza's Back!. Kicking off with a five-night run April 2-7 at London's Royal Albert Hall, her new concert will then travel to Denmark, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland April 14-23.

The new show, created by new beau Gest and co-produced with Michael Jackson, will feature some of her classics (e.g. Kander and Ebb) and some new material including songs from Mary J. Blige and Luther Vandross as well. The production will also incorporate eight dance numbers with her dancers and orchestra, according to publicist David Freed.

Freed also told Playbill On-Line that despite recent health issues, the 55-year-old performer — who attended a Jan. 24 press conference at London’s Dorchester Hotel — "sang a few lines at the press conference, and her voice sounds great."

Minnelli's last performance on Broadway was in Minnelli on Minnelli which played a limited run at the Palace Theatre in Dec. 1999. Minnelli won Tony Awards for her stagework in Flora, The Red Menace and The Act. She garnered an Academy Award for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in the movie "Cabaret."

The dates and tour stops are as follows: April 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7 - Royal Albert Hall - London, England
April 14 - Aalborg Aalborghallen - Denmark
April 16 - Palais de Congres - Paris, France
April 18 - Oberhausen Arena - Germany
April 20 - Vienna Stadhalle - Austria
April 23 - Zurich Hallenstadion - Switzerland
