News "Let It Go" Songwriters Write New Song for Neil Patrick Harris' Oscars Hosting Gig Academy Award-winning husband-and-wife songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will pen a musical number for Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris, which he will perform at the 87th annual Academy Awards Feb. 22.

According to Deadline, the multimedia sequence is titled "Moving Pictures," and Harris requested Lopez and Anderson-Lopez write it for him. Harris first announced the news on Twitter.

The Academy Awards will be presented Feb. 22. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who produced the live musical stagings of The Sound of Music and Peter Pan produce the awards ceremony, which will air on ABC.
