 by David Harrower
 is directed by George Perrin
and stars Blythe Duff and Andrew Scott-Ramsay. Here's how it's described: "This haunting two-hander from one of Scotland's greatest writers, starring Blythe Duff and Andrew Scott-Ramsay, traces the path of personal and political destruction in Helensburgh, Scotland. Evan returns to Helensburgh, home to Britain's nuclear defense program and once a thriving holiday resort. And place he's been trying to avoid. under the direction of David Overend. Here's how it's billed: "The sold out, smash hit of the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe celebrates Scotland Week with its U.S. premiere at Brits Off Broadway. Hit the Wall (Off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre). The Off-Broadway production of Ike Holter's Hit the Wall, which imagines the events of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, features Rania Salem Manganaro, Arturo Soria, Nick Bailey, Jessica Dickey, Ben Diskant, Nathan Lee Graham, Matthew Greer, Gregory Haney, Sean Allan Krill, Ray Rizzo, Carolyn Michelle Smith and Indigo Street. Here's how it's billed: "It's the early hours of June 28, 1969 when a routine police raid on The Stonewall Inn, a popular underground gay bar in Greenwich Village, sparks a full-scale riot. Violent protests and street demonstrations continued for the next several days in what became known as The Stonewall Riots, thrusting a group of unlikely revolutionaries onto the frontlines of history and igniting one of the most influential social and political movements of the 20th Century. Hit the Wall focuses on that wild and enigmatic first night of the riots, placing the audience just on the periphery of the conflict. With an imaginative and theatrical blend of history and mythology, Hit the Wall shines a contemporary light on the legacy of Stonewall." Visit BarrowStreetTheatre.com.
