John Davidson will take on the role of Pseudolus in the musical farce centering on "a cunning Roman slave [who] tries to win his freedom by helping his master's son woo the girl of his dreams." The work features a score by Stephen Sondheim.
David Edwards (By Jeeves) as Hysterium and Ashleigh Davidson as Philia are featured in a cast that include Elyse Wolf (as Domina), John Blaylock (Miles Gloriosus), John Little (Senex), Christopher August (Hero), Andrew Foote (Erronius), Vince Urbani (Lycus), Zoe Friedman (Tintinabula), Karyn McNay (Panacea), Jackie Mercandetti and Lauren Gemilli (The Geminae), Stephanie Feigen (Vibrata), Jesmille Darbouze (Gymnasia), Kirk Bixby, Ben Liebert and Damian Thompson (The Proteans).
Davidson — known to television audiences as the host of "The New Hollywood Squares," "The John Davidson Show," "The Miss Teenage America Pageant," and more — has appeared at Surflight (again opposite his daughter) in Shenendoah. On Broadway, he performed in Foxy and State Fair.
The design team for ...Forum features David Esler (scenic), Peter Leonard (lighting) and Andi Lyn (costume). Musical direction is by Sarah Brett England. Gail Anderson serves as stage manager.
