News Joan Rivers Documentary To Premiere on WNET-TV Comedy stars will share memories on Joan Rivers: Exit Laughing.

Joan Rivers: Exit Laughing a documentary about the life and career of the standup comedienne and talk show host, will premiere on WNET Channel 13 April 1 at 10 PM ET in the New York area.

Rivers made just three Broadway appearances, including Sally Marr...and her escorts in 1994, but became a fixture at Broadway openings later in her life. She died September 4, 2014.

The Comedy Hall of Fame pays tribute to her in this new documentary. According to production notes, “The film explores Rivers' impact through the insights of three generations of comedians who have Rivers' influence in common. Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin, Dick Cavett, Don Rickles, Lily Tomlin, and Marlo Thomas are among those who share memories.”
