The film — which made its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival — will premiere on the cable network at 10 PM (ET). Check local listings. "'Pittsburgh' is a labor of love for me, and it's very close to my heart," Goldbum said in a release. The star will host the premiere (as part of a weekend-long event with the debuts of "Shut Up and Sing" and "The Heart of the Game"). The "Pittsburgh" DVD will be released by Starz Home Entertainment in September.
Goldblum is the focus of Kyle LaBrache and Chris Bradley comedy's "Pittsburgh," billed as somewhere "between genuine documentary and outright self-parody." The film also stars Ed Begley, Jr.; Illeana Douglas; Moby; Alanis Morissette; Conan O'Brien; and Goldblum's manager, Keith Addis. "What's fact? What's fiction? Whatever it is, Goldblum isn't talking. He's leaving it up to the viewers to decide for themselves."
Goldblum, last seen on Broadway in The Pillowman, has also performed onstage in The Play What I Wrote, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Exonerated and Twelfth Night or What You Will. Goldblum is known for his film work in "The Big Chill," "Jurassic Park," "The Fly," "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," "Independence Day" and more. He is among the founding members of the theatre company The Fire Dept.
