Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents Spring Gala
Jazz at Lincoln Center's annual spring gala fundraiser takes place tonight at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. The concert features appearances by pop musicians Tracy Chapman, Joe Cocker, John Legend, John Mayer, and Natalie Merchant.
Pianist Ahmad Jamal and his trio will also appear, as will artistic director Wynton Marsalis and his septet. Comedian and actor Bernie Mac will host.
