Ozark, the Netflix streaming series starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, continues to pad its cast with theatre veterans with the promotion of Janet McTeer and Lisa Emery to series regulars for the upcoming third season.
McTeer, most recently Tony nominated for Bernhardt/Hamlet, plays the ferocious lawyer Helen Pierce. Emery, a three-time Drama Desk nominee for shows like Marvin’s Room and Abigail’s Party, plays Darlene Snell, the wife of a mob boss.
Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes will also join the cast as series regulars, with Joseph Sikora and and Felix Solis playing recurring characters.
The Netflix crime drama will return in March 27, 2020. Starring Bateman and Linney as Jason and Marty Byrde, the show revolves around the couple as they get more deeply involved with a Mexican cartel’s money laundering scheme.
