Mazel tov to Tony Randall, founder and artistic director of Broadway's National Actors Theatre. The 77 year old stage and television actor is the father of a 7 pound, 8 ounce baby girl, Julia Laurette Randall. Baby Randall was born at 12:05 am, April 11, to father Tony and mother Heather, who is in her twenties. The child was named after Tony's mother, Julia, and actress Laurette Taylor.
Randall is best known for playing persnickity Felix on TV's "The Odd Couple," but has appeared on Broadway in Inherit The Wind (both the original and recent revival), as well as M. Butterfly and A Little Hotel On The Side.
The National Actors Theatre is currently readying a revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, The Gin Game, starring Charles Durning and Julie Harris.
