Cleopatra, an immersive new pop musical playing in New York City's Chelsea Music Hall, opened November 7 after beginning previews October 23. The show, which fuses music, dance, theatre, and nightlife (a live DJ is on site), invites the audience into a lavish party thrown by the legendary Queen of the Nile.

Directed and choreographed by JT Horenstein, the pop musical features music and lyrics by Jeff Daye and lyrics by Laura Kleinbaum. Nya (Motown: The Musical) and Christian Brailsford (The Lion King) lead the cast in the roles of ill-fated lovers Cleopatra and Marc Antony.
The cast also features Sydney Parra as Iris Parra and Corbin Payne as Octavian. Brendan Henderson, Alison Ingelstrom, Yuriko Miyake, Cody Mowrey, Alexia Sielo, Timothy Wilson, and Audrey Rose Young all play Citizens of Alexandria.
The creative team includes costume designer and stylist Nicolas Putvinski, scenic designer Christopher Browser, lighting designer Joe Cantalupo, sound designer Drew Levy, electronic music designer Lloyd Kikoler, and vocal arranger Brian Usifer.
